CDMX.- 29 de Junio de 2018.- Debido al deceso, en 2011, de Constanza Vega Sosa, arqueóloga del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), quien había publicado en 1991 un amplio trabajo y edición facsimilar del Códice Azoyú 1, y tenía en marcha un proyecto similar sobre el Azoyú 2 y Humboldt Fragmento 1, el doctor Michel Oudijk, del Instituto de Investigaciones Filológicas de la UNAM, dio continuidad a esta tarea.
