New York, May 27, 2017.- After much work and many adventures, the all-female mariachi band from New York- Mariachi Flor De Toloache- proudly releases their brand new album Las Caras Lindas. The album was recorded in just one week right after a long stint on the road- and the time limitations, though difficult, were fruitful.

The Grammy Nominated band has been praised by the Huffington Post for their 'mix of tradition and innovation'-- and they certainly continue that with this new album. Even beyond the album, the band recently became the faces of a Kate Spade campaign, celebrating traditional Mexican fashion- https://youtu.be/ELW8agdSnOI.
In their whirlwind of a career, the band has toured all over the world since the release of their first album, including a high profile run with The Arcs (Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys) and studio collaborations with No Te Va Gustar and Chicano Batman.
"What felt like sacrificing actually was allowing myself to be very exposed; more vulnerable. You tell a way more honest story that way, without that polished pop sound that gives a feeling that it's not as human. And that's what's missing in the music world," Shae Fiol told NPR (vocals/guitar). And that's what Las Caras Lindas- a true display of bravery in music making and expression, and a defiance of the status quo.
The band will be celebrating the release in their hometown, NYC, for two nights at Joe's Pub on June 16 and 17. Tix here !
